Local Surrey Honey is a trading name of Adventor Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14448334, whose registered office is 13 Kinglake Court, Woking, Surrey GU21 8AL.

These terms apply to your use of localsurreyhoney.co.uk. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The site exists to help people find independent beekeepers, apiaries and local honey sellers across Surrey, and to help those producers be found. Everything beyond that — ordering, paying, collecting, complaining — is between you and the producer.

Most listings were compiled from publicly available business information and are marked “Unverified profile”. That label means exactly what it says: the producer has not confirmed the listing, and may not know it exists.

• A listing is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a statement that we have inspected anything.
• “Verified by producer” means only that the producer has confirmed the main information shown. It is not a quality mark, a certification, or a food-safety assurance.
• Every profile shows the source it was compiled from and the date it was last checked. Information can go out of date between checks.
• Availability of local honey is seasonal and small producers sell out. Always confirm before travelling.

We take reasonable care compiling listings, but we cannot guarantee that any of it is accurate, complete or current. Confirm product origin, ingredients, allergens, availability and collection or delivery arrangements directly with the producer before relying on them.

Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that producer, on their terms. Your rights over the goods — including refunds, faulty or unsatisfactory products, and allergen information — are against the producer, not against us.

If something goes wrong with a purchase, we would still like to know, because it may mean a listing needs correcting. But we cannot resolve a dispute between you and a producer.

Nothing on this site is health advice. We do not claim, and do not permit listings to claim, that local honey treats, prevents or relieves hay fever, allergies or any other condition.

Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months. If you have questions about honey and your health, or about allergies, speak to a healthcare professional.

You agree not to:

• Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose.
• Copy, scrape or republish the directory or substantial parts of it without our permission.
• Use contact details found here to send unsolicited marketing to producers.
• Submit anything false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to submit.
• Attempt to interfere with the site, or with anyone else’s use of it.

The design, written content, illustrations and the compiled directory are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and database rights. You may look at them, and print or share individual pages for your own non-commercial use.

Producer names, logos and trade marks belong to the producers. Their appearance here is descriptive — it identifies the business — and does not imply any association with or endorsement by them.

The county boundary used on our map comes from OpenStreetMap and is used under the Open Database Licence, with attribution shown on the map.

The site links to producer websites and shops that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices, and a link is not a recommendation.

We provide the site free of charge and make no promise that it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it, and may add, change or remove listings, at any time and without notice.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow us to. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and — if you are a consumer — your statutory rights.

Beyond that: we provide this directory as an information service, free of charge, and we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on it. In particular we are not liable for any loss connected with a product you buy from a producer, with a producer’s conduct, or with information that turns out to be out of date or wrong.

If you are using the site for business purposes, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Every profile has a “Report incorrect information” button, and every unverified profile has a “Claim this profile” button. We check reports against the producer’s own public information and correct or remove listings promptly. Producers can ask to be removed at any time, for any reason or none.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the version published here is the one that applies.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
